Our approach
Ready to lead at the next level?
Moving into senior leadership, or the CEO seat, changes everything. The strategies that got you here? They won’t take you further. And working longer hours isn’t the answer.
At this level, leadership isn’t about doing more, it’s about doing differently. The pressures are unique, the expectations higher, and the environment more complex. That’s where we come in.
For over eight years, we’ve helped leaders like you thrive at the top, using an approach inspired by elite sports coaching. It’s built around three pillars:
1
Master the System
Your success depends on the environment you operate in. We’ll help you:
Navigate board dynamics, stakeholders, and politics.
Create a clear, compelling vision and strategy.
Align your organization – structure, governance, and culture.
2
Elevate Your Skills
Leadership at this level demands new capabilities. Together, we’ll sharpen:
Communication that inspires and influences.
Accountability and delegation that actually work.
Stakeholder management and public presence.
3
Strengthen the Self
Behind every role is a person. We’ll focus on:
Building resilience and confidence under pressure.
Projecting authority and presence.
Handling conflict and the isolation that can come with the top job.
A tailored approach
As coaches our role is to carefully analyse the client’s situation and context and chose the most effective intervention from the array of proven tools and techniques that are grounded in theory and practice … enabling clients to develop practical actions to take away not only from each session but forward in their lives and careers.
Proven tools
Our experience as executives and coaches has given us a broad range of proven tools and techniques that are helpful in coaching interventions but that the client can take forward with them through their life and career.
In addition to our core training with the Meyler Campbell Mastered program we have extensive training and interest in various areas of applied psychology from cognitive behavioural therapy; sports psychology; positive psychology and mindfulness.
Structured reflection
In addition we provide a supportive space for structured reflection and challenge engaging a variety of coaching techniques to enable you to develop practical actions to take away from each session.
This often involves simply being a confidential and safe sounding board for you to discuss the issues at hand, test positions and approaches or work through challenging emotions.
Typical engagement and costs
A coaching engagement typically last 6-12 months although extended relationships are not uncommon for clients in continually evolving roles and circumstances.
Our model is flexible but we typically work on a retained basis (as opposed to fixed sessions / time) over an extended time-period with an agreed set of objectives. This enables us to develop deeper relationships with clients and their organisations and provide them with access to coaching support when they need it most.
Engagement with the sponsor
Whilst some of our clients contract with us directly, most of our work is undertaken with and through the sponsoring organisation.
Where there is a sponsoring organisation, it is important to establish a three-way relationship including engagement with the sponsoring organisation to ensure individual goals align with the strategic objectives of the organisation.
Each engagement is unique, however typically we will meet with the client and the sponsor at the beginning and end of the coaching programme, in addition to periodic check-ins throughout the programme (a process which we encourage the client to take ownership of).
Bringing everyone together at the end is a chance to review progress made, celebrate the successes and agree any further actions required.
“The first thing I realised when I moved into the CEO role is that there are suddenly very few people to whom you can talk completely openly. Kate became a valued sounding board and a safe place for structured conversations about my frustrations and worry list. She brought clarity to complex situations and helped me understand how to better communicate with my Board.”

“Ivan has helped me become more conscious of the people around me and the impact I have on them. Through his listening, guiding and reasoning, he has helped me embrace the true meaning of collaboration and the importance of creating a team of people who are engaged and feel part of something special. I no longer go to work feeling worried and looking to get through the tasks of the day; my focus is on driving performance by making a positive difference to people's lives.”
